Hospital in Greenville, NC seeking a Surgical First Assist Locum Tenens Physician Assistant.

Provider Requirements:

• Surgical First Assist PA
• 2 years of cardiac experience

Facility Details:

• 7 cardiac surgeons and 2 thoracic surgeons
• 1 PA and 2 surgical assistants
• Average of 1,000 pump cases/year

Assignment Details:

• Assignment is 100% OR
• Schedule: Monday – Friday   6:30am – until daily schedule complete
• Will be on the CVOR PA rotating call schedule for weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Expected to perform the following procedures:
• open-heart (on pump and off pump) cases, endoscopic vein harvest, robotic mitral valve cases, minimally invasive mitral valve cases, pedi open-heart cases, aneurysm repairs, thoracic cases, robotic thoracic cases, maze procedures, TVAR’s, etc.
